Celebrating Success with the Edinburgh One HealthTech Community
We are lucky to be part of a vibrant, Health Tech community – one NDS is equally keen to collaborate with, support and learn from.
This week, we had the opportunity to celebrate with the Health Tech community at the Edinburgh One HealthTech Christmas meetup. For those new to One HealthTech, it is a global, volunteer-led, grassroots community that supports and promotes under-represented groups to be future leaders in health innovation. Their mission is to inspire, celebrate, enable and champion inclusivity and diversity in health tech.
The audience included a diverse mix of attendees from private and public sector including start-ups and larger companies. Personally, I found the approach and attention to detail made this a much more inclusive event than many I have been to before – great work OHT!
From NDS, Rohan Gunatilllake (Head of Product) and Alistair Hann (Chief Technology Officer) shared their successes and thoughts for 2020, including:
Growth of our team in NDS
Rewarding user feedback related to our first product – ReSPECT
Other presenters at the event included Cathy Kelly, who gave an illuminating presentation on the progress of Digital Transformation of Scottish Health and Care. As Clinical Advisor for Digital Health and Care team in Scottish Government and Chief Clinical Information Officer for North London Partners, she has been at the forefront of leading change in this area, providing valuable insight on both the impressive progress and work ahead.
